What Next?
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) recommends that all professionals administering or using the TPRI complete, at a minimum, this Administration Module. Additional training modules are available to help teachers use their TPRI data and may be offered through regional education service centers or through district professional development staff. Examples of additional training include the following:
Using TPRI for Grouping Students helps teachers use TPRI scores to group students for differentiated small group instruction.
The Intervention Activities Guide (IAG) provides lesson planning tools and intervention activities to provide additional opportunities for practice.
Analyzing Word Reading and Spelling Scores helps teachers understand and use student scores on the decodable word reading task and the spelling task in second and third grade.
