Description
In this course, students will build understanding of the following modules: Properties of Multiplication and Division and Solving Problems with Units of 2–5 and 10; Place Value and Problem Solving with Units of Measure; Multiplication and Division with Units of 0, 1, 6–9, and Multiples of 10; Multiplication and Area; Fractions as Numbers on the Number Line; Financial Literacy and Data; and Geometry and Measurement Word Problems.
You will find teacher and student materials for each module to guide the instruction and facilitate learning. Each module is broken up into coherent topics that allow students to develop solid conceptual understanding, practice procedural skills and fluency, and apply what they learn in real-world scenarios.
The agency developed these learning resources as a contingency option for school districts during COVID. All resources are optional. Prior to publication, materials go through a rigorous third-party review. Review criteria include TEKS alignment, support for all learners, progress monitoring, implementation supports, and more. Products also are subject to a focus group of Texas Educators.
